I suspect the Intel device manages HDMI audio this might be completely wrong , however I’ve tried installing Win10’s generic drivers to check if it had anything to do with the problem, to no avail. Hello AttackofZaq, The only time I remember the subwoofer working is when I first received the laptop. I’ve tested it with different types of music and tried plenty of bass test on youtube with no luck. bazs

To be a bit more specific, when I go to playback devices, select the appropiate speaker device, right-click and select configure, Windows only lets me configure the device as a two-speaker setup.
